Williamsburg native and University of South Carolina graduate Samuel Foxx has been appointed a financial representative intern associated with the Northwestern Mutual district office in Williamsburg.
“Our internship program is known as one of the best in country, in part, because people like Sam get to ‘test drive’ the same career as our full-time representatives,” said Tracy Shackelford, Northwestern Mutual Greater Peninsula district directing manager. “Sam is a welcome addition to our team.”
Foxx graduated with a Bachelor of Arts in Hospitality, Retail, and Sports Management, and with a minor in Business Administration from the University of South Carolina.
He is the son of Drs Steve and Elizabeth Foxx. Foxx is a 2014 graduate of Hampton Roads Academy in Newport News. He will now be working alongside a team of Northwestern Mutual specialists, to provide expert financial planning and care to clients and accounts.
