The jackpot for Tuesday’s Mega Millions drawing has climbed to $470 million, making it potentially the 13th largest jackpot in U.S. lottery history. The cash option was worth $265 million.
The winning numbers are: 20, 22, 39, 54, 60. The Mega Ball drawn was 18. The Megaplier was 3x.
The cash option was worth $265 million.
The twice-weekly drawing has rolled over 21 straight times since the jackpot was last captured on July 24. The jackpot is the 6th biggest in the 16-year history of Mega Millions.
While Friday’s drawing didn’t produce a jackpot winner, two people bought tickets which matched five numbers but not the Mega Ball. One was purchased in Kentucky and is worth $1 million. The other – sold in California – is valued at $638,267.
California lottery prizes vary depending on ticket sales and number of winners. They differ from the fixed second prizes offered in other participating states.
Three tickets sold in New Jersey matched four numbers plus the Mega Ball and are worth $10,000 apiece.
They were bought at the following locations:
- ShopRite on Route 35 in Wall
- Exxon on King Georges Road in the Basking Ridge section of Bernards
- Krauszer’s Food Store on Saint Georges Avenue in Rahway
Friday’s winning numbers were: 27, 28, 32, 41 and 69. The Mega Ball drawn was 12. The Megaplier was 2X.
